No File Uploads
When you use any PDFoo tool:
- Your PDF files are processed 100% locally in your web browser
- No files are uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers
- No file content is stored, logged, or transmitted
- Once you close your browser tab, all file data is gone
This means your sensitive documents – contracts, financial statements, personal records – remain completely private.
Data We Collect
We collect minimal, anonymous data to improve our service:
Analytics Data
- Page views: Which tools are most popular
- Tool usage: Success/failure rates (no file content)
- Device type: Browser and operating system
- Geographic region: Country-level only
We use Vercel Analytics for this purpose, which is privacy-focused and GDPR compliant.
What We Do NOT Collect
- Your PDF file content
- File names or metadata
- Personal information (name, email, etc.)
- IP addresses (anonymized)
- Cross-site tracking data

PDFoo uses minimal cookies:

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or social media trackers.

- CDN Libraries: PDF.js, pdf-lib, jsPDF, Tesseract.js for PDF processing
All PDF processing libraries run entirely in your browser – they do not transmit your data.

PDFoo does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Our service is intended for general audiences.
